Terms and Conditions relating to Driving Lessons

01. Interpretation and Application

In these terms and conditions, “We”, “Us” or “Our” means Rangel GDLK Limited trading as Driving Well Academy ®, “You” or “Your” means you the customer and “On the Road lessons” means any lesson, lessons or plan we provide.

Our registered office is at 278 Glasnevin Avenue, Glasnevin, Dublin 11, Ireland.

02. Your responsibilities

A. If You take On the Road lessons, it is Your responsibility to ensure that You have the appropriate Licence and the Licence must be presented to Your Instructor prior to the commencement of Your tuition.
B. Your Instructor reserves the right to refuse to provide You with tuition or to cancel any lessons You have agreed to or booked, without liability, if You fail to provide him with the Licence prior to Your first and every single lesson (You must hold your learner permit at all the time during the lessons), You will be liable to pay for 100% of the lesson fee.
C. On the Road tuition is governed by a contract between You and Your Instructor. Accordingly, You and Your Instructor are responsible for arranging the date, time, pick-up location and duration of Your lessons.
E. You will treat Your Instructor with respect and follow Your Instructor’s reasonable instructions, particularly with regard to matters affecting Your health and safety.

03. Privacy Policy

A. All lessons are recorded for academic purposes, by signing this you agree with it.
B. We will only hold your personal information and recorded lessons for the duration necessary to allow us to provide the services that you have requested or for any additional period as required by law.
C. This information will not be disclosed unless requested by the Law.
D. Any other policy mentioned in our Privacy Policy section.

04. Lesson Refunds and Cancellation Policy

A. You must give Us or Your Instructor at least 48 hours notice (the “Minimum Notice”) if You wish to cancel or rearrange a driving lesson, otherwise, You will be liable to pay 100% of the lesson fee.
B. Where You have pre-paid for any lesson but fail to attend or provide the Minimum Notice to cancel or rearrange the lesson, it will be counted as a lesson taken for the purposes of the lesson cancellation policy and You will be liable for the lesson fee.
C. You will not be able to sell or transfer any driving lessons which You have pre-paid for to any third party, without obtaining Our prior consent.
D. Before booking, you are required to contact us by email to ensure you are suitable for driving lessons. If we consider you are not suitable to receive driving lessons but you book an appointment online and paid before confirming with Us, You will be refunded the amount paid minus 10% of the total amount as part of the administration fee.
E. We will process the refund within the next 14 days from the moment we received your refund request. If a full/partial refund applies, we will refund you to the same method of payment in your purchase or whichever method is convenient for us.

05. Payment methods

You must pay for Your product(s), good(s) or lesson(s) in advance using the following methods:

A. Payment via credit or debit card online at www.drivingwell.ie
B. Payment via credit or debit card directly to your Instructor.
C. Payment via cash made directly to Your Instructor. We may require you to pay, from the first lesson, the total price of two lessons in advance when booking more appointments.

06. Prices

Prices of products and services are correct at the time of entering information, and booking lessons, however, we reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.
